Overview

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic individual to join the Toronto East General Hospital's Health Records Management Department in this summer position. This exciting summer opportunity will offer a student the opportunity to develop good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks more effectively. Within this role, you will participate in a project from start to finish while gaining valuable hands on experience in health records functions and administration.

Education
- Minimum grade 12 is required
- Post secondary student preferably enrolled in Health Information or Medical Office Administration.
- A background in Health Records or another health related field would be an asset.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated flexibility with the ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and in a busy team environment
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, accurate and efficient
- Demonstrated computer skills - proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite required & electronic health record an asset
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to the TEGH Standards of Behaviour
- Good work and attendance record required.
