**Position**:Human Resources Manager - Permanent, Part-time

**Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager**
- Coordinate talent acquisition efforts by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Managing all aspects of the _WSIB_ claims process leading to the safe return to _work_ of employees
- Lead attendance and performance management programs
- Monitor employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
- Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and provincial requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Diploma / Degree in human resources
- Experience in human resources management
- CHRL designation an asset
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
- Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, to prioritize tasks in order of urgency
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills
- Developed creative problem-solving skills to look at the “big picture”
