**QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB**:

- Some technical knowledge, training and experience in manufacturing/painting environment is required.
- Ability to distinguish colours.
- Problem solving skills.
- Experience in electrostatic painting and mixing of paint.
- Communication skills (English - written and verbal).
- Physically fit.
- Crane/Hoist safety certificate (training provided).
- WHMIS.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.

**MAIN DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES OF JOB**:

- Conduct pre-shift inspection of equipment such as “Typhoon”, cranes and/or hoists.
- Report deficiencies to the production supervisor.
- Operate cranes/hoists to transport or position large parts as required.
- Uses hand-held spray guns.
- Operate equipment to spray or coat.
- Prepares parts for wash.
- Cleans parts.
- Loads and unloads parts on and from conveyor.
- Paints.
- Clean tools and the working area at the end of the shift or as required.
- Maintains daily production requirements and ensures quality of products by checking and inspecting finished products for proper quality.
- Prepare production reports as required.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality to the supervisor.
- Adheres to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Follow health and safety rules and procedures.
- Assemble products with minimum of supervision.
- Requires to cross-train.
- Any other duties as required by management from time to time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
