Line Cook

Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented in a timely and consistent manner
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are kept clean and sanitized
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service
- Monitor food quality and report any concerns to the Head Chef or Manager
- Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pound

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
