**Position Summary**:
The Emergency Restoration Coordinator is responsible for organizing, managing, and directing restoration efforts during and after emergencies or disasters. This role involves coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, assessing damage, and facilitating communication with clients, vendors, and insurance providers to restore affected sites promptly and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Emergency Response Coordination**:

- Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies or disaster restoration projects.
- Deploy and oversee response teams to affected sites promptly.
- Develop and implement effective restoration strategies in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Also required to physically participate in restoration efforts as needed
- **Damage Assessment**:

- Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate damage caused by fire, flood, storms, or other disasters.
- Prepare detailed reports on the extent of damage and restoration requirements.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate assessments and claims.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restoration teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
- **Client and Stakeholder Communication**:

- Serve as a liaison between clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status and address client concerns promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure that all restoration activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Address and mitigate any hazards identified during restoration work.
- **Resource Management**:

- Oversee the procurement and allocation of necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Optimize resource usage to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of restoration activities, including timelines, expenses, and completed tasks.
- Generate reports for clients, insurance providers, and management as required.
- Develop after-action reviews to improve future response and restoration efforts.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in construction management, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in emergency restoration, disaster recovery, or a related field.
- **Certifications**: IICRC certification (e.g., WRT, ASD) or equivalent is highly desirable. OSHA safety certification is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions quickly.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during emergencies.
- On-site work in hazardous conditions, such as fire, water damage, or structural instability.
- Frequent travel to affected sites and client locations.

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

**Experience**:
