**Description**:
**We have trucks of all sizes that are mostly automatic and modern and an array of various containers that make up our asset base.**

**This role will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing all company assets, as well as maintaining all yards and shops.**

**Help us build our new fleet repair and maintenance department from the ground up and grow your career with our growth.**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Container Assembly/Asset Repair (Welding, painting, etc )
- in shop and on road repairs of containers, trucks & other assets**:

- **Light truck repair and maintenance - PM's, small repairs, PMs, greasing and Lube, oil changes etc...**:

- **Use of Forklift within yard**:

- **Shop and Yard Upkeep - Sweeping, Pressure Washing bins and trucks, Reorganization, etc.**:

- **Follow all required safety policies and procedures.**:

- **Perform other job-related duties as assigned.**:

- **THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB, POTENTIAL IN AND OUT OF TRUCK ALL DAY LONG, WORKING IN ALL TYPES OF WEATHER**

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- **Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Mechanic/ Welder**:

- _**OR **_**will be in their 1st or 2nd year of their apprenticeship with related heavy equipment experience**:

- _**OR **_**a combination of related education and work experience**:

- **Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics**:

- **The ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipment**:

- **The ability to work independently**:

- **Your own tools**

Nice to Have:

- **Welding experience is a definite asset**:

- **Hydraulic experience is a definite asset**:

- **Class 1/3 drivers license**:

- **Forklift certified**:

- **Crane truck certification**

**Compensation**:
**Wage Rate: $/hr TBD Depending on qualifications**

**Benefits: Medical and Dental**

**Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 PM - Occasional OT may come up, flexibility is necessary with shifts and times**

**Vacation Pay: 4% on each payroll**

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Additional pay:
