We are looking for an experienced Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join the Simson-Maxwell team.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator is an essential part of the service department of each branch and works with the service team and technicians to schedule and execute all preventative maintenance opportunities.

**TERMS**
- Permanent, Full-Time.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm.

**DESCRIPTION**

In this role, you will contribute in the following ways:

- Liaison with Preventative Maintenance customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and manage the monthly schedule as per customer agreements.
- Work with PM account manager and Service Agreement Specialist for agreement renewals.
- Set-up of Preventive Maintenance Agreements in our contracts’ management system.
- Work with credit manager to set up accounts in Business Central for new customers.
- Pull customer files that are due for preventative maintenance.
- Quote recommendations from last PM that may be required.
- Open and manage PM work orders in Service Max.
- Determine the number of resources required to perform the required tasks. Check the availability of the required resources to carry out the work.
- Place parts order with Simson Maxwell internal parts department when required.
- Reserve equipment (load banks, cables) for specific jobs.
- Coordinate the presence of escorts or security clearance for contractors who execute work.
- Rent additional equipment when necessary.
- Obtain estimates from subcontractors in order to prepare purchase orders.
- Open vendor purchase orders and manage within the work order.
- Coordinate the obtaining of the required permits in order to execute the work order.
- Schedule and coordinate necessary service with Customers and Preventive Maintenance Technicians.
- Review, close and invoice completed maintenance agreements to be sure that we are meeting the requirements of the agreements.
- Communicate effectively for Preventive Maintenance call requests from our internal and external customers.
- Review reports and quote any recommended Preventative Maintenance Repairs. Collaborate with service team to estimate the number of hours and resources required to complete the work.
- Order parts for, coordinate, and schedule all approved PMR’s.
- Receives requests sent by phone, person or directly in SM after hours and create corrective work orders, if needed. Communicate with the client to determine the scope of the work and confirm the progress of the work orders.
- Knowledge of Fuel Life for fuel and coolant samples.
- Knowledge of portal entry for customers who require third party invoicing system.
- Meet weekly with the service team to advise of all current activities. Review all work orders and coordinate any assistance that may be required.
- Coordinate all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Respect all company policies and procedures and comply with company standards.
- Oversee facility access control programs, emergency preparedness and team safety practices to ensure that we are in compliance with regulations as well as the policies and procedures of Simson Maxwell and our client.
- Perform any other task that may be assigned to it.
