**THE ROLE: Operations Coordinator**
**LOCATION**:Richmond, BC
**WORKSPACE**: This role is based full-time on-site at our Richmond, BC facility, a mixed space housing a distribution centre and office areas. It is a part-time temporary role.
**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Information Technology:
- Manage user access to software including Microsoft365 and Shopify
- Troubleshoot staff questions and issues with their laptop and/or software
- Setup and reset computer equipment, as needed
- Document, update, and maintain internal processes and training in centralized knowledge hub
Facilities:
- Manage workspace requirements for new and current team members, overseeing moves and ordering equipment and furniture
- Track office, warehouse, and cleaning supply levels, and place orders as required
- Oversee operations + facilities procurement, establishing clear processes and record-keeping
- Manage day-to-day communication and troubleshoot issues with facilities-related vendors
- Coordinate with security and cleaning partners to ensure work locations are clean and secure
- Ensure a high-quality, clean, and enjoyable workspace for our team, making suggestions for continuous improvement, and executing approved workplace enhancements
Safety, Security and Wellness:
- Co-develop and maintain asset protection program
- Assist in general safety processes including JHSC operations, and facilitate WorkSafeBC administrative requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 2-3 years experience in an operations, facilities, and/or office management role
- High proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
- Experience as a Microsoft 365 and/or software administrator is an asset
- Proven ability to successfully juggle a broad range of programs, tasks, and inquiries in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Top-notch organizational skills
- Flexible, and able to pivot in response to shifting priorities
- Highly responsive and approachable, with a strong customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a timely manner
- Personable and professional demeanor, great relationship-builder
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Experience supporting human resources / people + culture programs an asset
