**Overview**

**Duties**
As a Personal Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring proper documentation.
- Supporting clients with mobility and physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Implementing care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly for those with dementia or disabilities.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to monitor client progress and report any changes in condition.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with senior care practices, including hospice care and assisted living environments.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices within a healthcare setting.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate nature and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and understanding.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 24 per week
