**OPERATIONS MANAGER**

**Position Summary**

As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all operation projects, field staff, inventory, and equipment maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Project management & ensure projects are executed
- Coordinate tasks on jobsites and in the yard
- Ensure field documents are completed, collected, submitted, and maintained
- Ensure safety requirements are met
- Oversee project kickoff
- Oversee field staff & delegation of tasks to field staff
- Managing new and existing business relationships
- Ensure all equipment is maintained
- Identify issues, scope conflicts and project changes
- Assign equipment, personnel, and subcontractor resources to projects
- Responsibilities as otherwise assigned by the Director

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years experience in business development, client interactions & project management
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Minimum 3 years experience with HydroVac’s, Rescue Standby and Emergency Response

**Abilities**
- Have a good understanding of legislation, standards, and guidelines related to Emergency Response, Confined Space and HydroVac Operations
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
- Able to work extended hours and variable shifts
- Able to follow Environmental Health & Safety programs and procedures
- Strong written and communication skills, fluency in English
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as the workload dictates
- Able to be on and on-call rotation
- Able to work in all outdoor elements
- Be cleared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

**Education & Certifications**
- Graduate from secondary school (grade 12) or equivalent
- AZ or DZ license preferred
- Clean drivers abstract
- Training in First Aid, Confined Space, HazMat Technician, Working at Heights preferred
