As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our leadership team.
**The Role**The Financial Controller will play a critical role in Weston Manufacturing's continued success. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and financial planning. You will work closely with the COO, CEO, leadership team, and team leads to ensure the company operates as efficiently as possible.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Provide consultative support to senior leadership through financial analysis, reports, and recommendations to inform strategic planning initiatives.
- Analyze financial statements to assess alignment with strategic direction and execution.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and consolidation.
- Manage cash flow, cost controls, and expenses.
- Establish departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for both short
- and long-term goals.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages in a timely manner.
- Manage the budgeting process and develop reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Develop and implement accounting, billing, and auditing procedures, establishing appropriate internal controls.
- Manage bank relationships and credit agreements.
- Research opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
**Skills, Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Certified Accountant designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in using cloud-based accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online.
- Over 5 years of experience in financial management, encompassing:
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on financial modeling.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing industry.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
