**About the Role**:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client—a well-established and rapidly growing advertising agency based in Mississauga—for the position of **Business Development Manager**. This is a **hybrid position**, initially offered as a 6-month contract, with the potential to be extended or transitioned **into a permanent role** based on performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities to support agency growth across traditional and digital advertising services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, brands, media partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized, integrated advertising solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and business development targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the agency at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in business development or client servicing within the **advertising, media, or marketing industry**.
- In-depth understanding of advertising solutions.
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience working with or within a full-service advertising agency
- Established network of contacts in the Canadian advertising/media landscape
- Understanding of both B2B and B2C advertising environments
