**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during meal service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative suggestions for new dishes.
- Maintain equipment and kitchen tools, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent culinary skills with experience in meal preparation and food handling.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that meet customer expectations.
