**Concord Confections, **the manufacturer of Dubble Bubble gum and other fine candy products has an immediate opening for a **Maintenance Planner.**

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position has responsibility at both sites for:

- Maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This includes recording the equipment repair history and generating standard and ad hoc reports for analysis.
- Set-up recommended maintenance schedules and generating work orders. Includes preparing job plans detailing the scope of the work, required resources and duration.
- Provide maintenance supervision support (hourly employee management), including staff scheduling.
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) program standards are developed, maintained and improved.
- Effective planning of all required resources - review the daily production schedule to set-up the maintenance PM schedules to utilize weekday hours.
- Schedule service contractors & maintain documentation & monitor frequency & results.
- Maintain the asset based maintenance work order response program and follow-up on completed work orders.
- Trained at both plants and support Maintenance Salaried staff coverage and other needs.
- Travel to and work at both production sites, as and when required.
- Lead and/or support projects, initiatives and tasks, within and outside Maintenance department, as required.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Understanding of tools and parts.
- Supervision and Team Management skills.
- 5 years Maintenance Planner experience is preferred.
- Creative thinking and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree.
- Hands-on, High energy level, attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
