**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Original FARM is a leading cannabis retailer that empowers the customer to take the best-informed decision by delivering a thoughtful and innovative customer experience. We are cannabis educators, sharing our passion and acquired knowledge with every customer.
We are currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to work with our Managing Director to provide on the ground support for our business locations.
This position is on site with no remote option possible.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Coordinate maintenance repairs/requests
- Manage physical aspects of property or equipment
- Implement Vendor selection criteria
- Negotiate with vendors for maintenance
- Effectively delegate responsibilities to appropriate individuals/positions
- Provide Operational support in many aspects of the business as required
- Able to support the organization through a variety of administrative tasks
- Approve office supply purchasing for each location
- Work with Managers to ensure all deliverables are completed
- Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
- 3+ years of related work experience preferred
- A proactive, results driven, highly skilled business professional with proven record for meeting and exceeding targets and objectives
- A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
- Must exercise sound judgment in making recommendations and taking actions.
- Strong communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must have a reliable vehicle as travel is required
- Team player, self motivated and goal-oriented
- Well organized and great attention to detail
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
- Criminal Records Check
**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**:
- Full Time position offering up to 37.5 hours per week
- Must be willing to sign FARM’s terms of employment contract
- Reports to Managing Director or Designate
- Direct Reports: No
- FARM adheres to BC Employment Standards law for hiring and termination
