**JOB TITLE**:Facilities Maintenance Technician

**LOCATION**:Sudbury, ON

**SCOPE**

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of special projects, equipment, building and ground maintenance tasks as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

**DU**T**I**E**S AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Timely fabrication of special projects, production equipment repairs, jigs, fixtures, devices, shadow boards, visual displays, storage solutions, work stations, etc. as required to support team
- Timely and cost-effective maintenance, repair, upgrade, and modification of building, grounds, parking lot, and yard. Plumbing, ventilation and general preventative maintenance of all production equipment, tools, mobile equipment, and material handling devices located within or about the facility
- Advising Facilities Maintenance Supervisor of any operational deviation(s) found
- Timely execution of maintenance activities as identified by work orders
- Traceable filing of accurately completed equipment registers and work orders
- Identification of tools and materials as may be required to execute maintenance, repair, overhaul, upgrade and modification materials, including local travel to local suppliers for pickup and transport back to the facility

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion
- Certificate of Qualification as a 433A Millwright is considered an asset
- Five (5) + years’ experience working within a facility maintenance or building management role
- Forklift, overhead crane & slinging, fall-arrest, and working at heights experience is an asset
