**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Booking and dispatching drivers and brokers for regional pickup and deliveries
- Ensure that all paperwork is properly completed by the drivers
- Be aware of location of drivers/trucks at all times
- Monitor and respond to driver messages/calls
- Advise customer service of all changes enroute i.e., accidents, breakdowns, emergencies or any other event disrupting service
- Assist drivers with routing directions, delivery issues and communicating service requirements
- Update UFOS computerized dispatch system in real time
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications and Skills**
- 2-3 years of previous experience in Transportation/Logistics field
- Strong ability to multi-task, with exceptional organizational skills
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with drivers and customers
- Ability to problem solve
- Must have the ability to cope with pressure in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent understanding of Canadian geography
- Positive attitude & ability to develop lasting relationships with drivers, co-workers & customers
- Experience with UFO’s Dispatch Software
- Must have the ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
Salary will be based on experience
**Salary**: $15.85-$24.43 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
