**Job Details**
Position Title: International Student Services Coordinator
Status: Part Time Permanent

Rate: $23.90 Hourly

**What you will do**:
Reporting to the Manager, International Student Services, the International Student Services Coordinator is responsible for providing logístical and administrative support to facilitate the arrival and settlement of international students. The incumbent will ensure that Humber staff, and our student community of approximately 6,000 new and returning students, at all Humber locations, will receive timely and accurate support. Key duties include: responsible for tracking of data and administration related to the international health insurance program; administrative/coordination support for all international Orientation activities; administrative/coordination/scheduling support for activities such as on-campus and off-campus workshops and events (online and in-person); and developing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of Humber’s comprehensive internationalization activities and strategies that support the international students transition to Humber.

The incumbent will, at times, deal with sensitive and highly confidential information. The incumbent also communicates directly with the general public, event guests, applicants, registered students, graduates, parents, faculty, and college administrators. During peak times, the International Student Service Coordinator responds to a very high volume of requests.

The incumbent is expected to work on various assignments associated with the International Centre that have guidelines and strict deadlines whereby the individual is required to coordinate multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

**Key Duties**:
Health Insurance - Works alongside Manager and International Student Advisors, and in close communication with the international student health insurance provider, to craft and ensure appropriate communication with all students about their health insurance processes and coverage.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of student data as relates to the international student health insurance program.

**Orientation Activities -**
- Provides administrative/coordination support to all international Orientation activities.
- Contacts internal and external partners regarding their participation.
- Provides in-person support for set-up and delivery of activities/events.
- Creates the schedule and communicates with International Marketing regarding event promotion.
- Ensures accurate and timely communication with students leading up to Orientation.
- Monitors and tracks student participation.

**On
- and Off-Campus Events -**
- Supports the activities that the International Student Advisor team undertakes related to on
- and off-campus events.
- The incumbent works with internal and external partners to make event arrangements such as scheduling and producing Live events, booking classroom spaces, booking transportation/catering, arranging registration and ticketing, etc.
- Provides support to the ISA team in respect to gathering/purchasing any supplies required for the event (E.g. snacks, handouts, visual aids, documents, displays, etc.).

**Evaluation and Analysis -**
- Develops and conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of Humber’s comprehensive internationalization activities and strategies that support international student transition to Humber. Data will be used to assist in future planning.
- Monitors and tracks student evaluations/feedback and participation rates
- Makes suggestions/Creates reports regarding improvements to processes and procedures, and recommends tools and techniques to improve communications with students.

**Student Support/General Inquiries -**
- The International Student Services Coordinator is expected to provide courteous, prompt and professional service to all parties with the goal of resolving questions and concerns during the first contact.
- Identifies and escalates priority issues and routes calls to the appropriate resource.
