We are seeking a Manager, Facilities with experience in the biotech industry to oversee and manage the full building operations of a facility encompassing laboratory and office space. In this role, you will provide hands-on day to day facility management, oversee building services and maintenance programs, and help Aspect plan for future growth and improvements. **Responsibilities**
- Oversee, operate, and maintain all facility equipment and systems including controls, automations, emergency power, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other infrastructure.
- Develop a proactive building maintenance program and establish best practices.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure repairs, preventative maintenance, and systems testing are completed in a timely manner.
- Work with the landlord on facility maintenance and tenant improvements.
- Partner with laboratory operations to ensure operational continuity during routine maintenance, systems testing, or emergency situations.
- Respond to and resolve any building issues and communicate status back to stakeholders.
- Partner with Finance to develop and maintain operational expenditures.
- Develop facility and resource plans to meet ongoing and future needs.
- Establish an organized documentation system for maintaining relevant information.
- Manage vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- **Education + Experience**: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with over 6 years of facilities management experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or laboratory setting.
- **Building Operations Experience**: Strong understanding of building operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems.
- **Stakeholder Management**:Experience managing vendors, contracts, and relationships with external service providers.
