**Position**: Facilities Manager

**Location**: Vancouver, BC

Reporting to the Department Head, the Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the facility maintenance and operations of their assigned assets in the Westbank portfolio. Under mínimal supervision and direction, you will perform a variety of maintenance and troubleshooting duties while ensuring that safety, security, and compliance are maintained at the highest levels.

**Responsibilities**
- Completes repairs and maintenance as required
- Assists the Senior Facility Manager and Property Managers to ensure smooth operations
- Oversees all of the mechanical/electrical facilities of the assigned properties
- In conjunction with Westbank standards, develop and monitor the asset’s energy management goals
- Co-ordinates the Preventive Maintenance program for the base building facilities and common areas
- Delegates work orders and tracks results
- Training and development for maintenance staff
- Works with site security to improve site safety and support the Health and Safety program
- Assists in scheduling of site staff hours
- Actively participates as a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Assists in tenant’s improvement coordination
- Assists in deficiencies follow up of development projects
- Complies with Westbank’s policies, procedures
- Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times
- Works with all PM’s team to insure all projects run smoothly
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Commercial and Residential Facility Management
- Ability to adhere to security guidelines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including effective communication, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, planning and organizational skills
- Being able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Being discrete and flexible
- Being focused, reliable and self-motivated
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work cohesively with a team
- Time management and organization
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Class 4 Power Engineer designation an asset, but not required

- 8 hour shift

- Facilities maintenance: 4 years (required)

Work Location: In person
