Bookkeeper/ HR Assistant

**Overview**
**Bookkeeper**
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, progressive invoicing, inventory reports, account statements, and other financial statements using computerized systems.
- Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements in a ledger or computer.
- Compile budget data and documents based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budgets.
- Prepare period or cost statements or reports. Calculate costs of materials, overhead and other expenses based on estimates, quotations, and price lists.
- File all government related filings.
**HR Functions**
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records.
Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
