Construction Site Manager

Greater Toronto Area, Canada QH Design-Build Full time

**Duties**:

- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and civil 3D models
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, Ontario Building Code and permits
- Manage project documentation, including change orders, and permits
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for each project
- Coordinate with clients to address any concerns or issues that arise during construction
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status and progress
- Develop project plans, logs, and schedules for each project.
- Proficiently analyze architectural, structural, and mechanical engineering drawings in the context of construction sites.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project independently.
- Manage project documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and progress reports.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members to optimize performance and productivity.
- Maintain accurate project records for reporting purposes and report to Management on a continuous basis.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, bluebeam software, schematics, civil 3D models
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
