**What you would engage in**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented office-based Administrative Assistant with a minimum of five years of relevant experience to join our expanding Toronto office. You would play a crucial role in project administration and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent editing skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. The role of Administrative Assistant comes with the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule and will provide you with the opportunity to:

- Provide project administration for engineering reports in the MS Office Suite (formatting, filing, working with excel files, compiling deliverables, creating administrative reports, etc.).
- Administrative support to the team, including travel arrangements, pursuing timesheet completion, adherence to quality management procedures.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other project deliverables.
- Use internal & external internet-based library sites such as Newforma & SharePoint for uploading and filing deliverables.
- Handle office administrative tasks such as filing, generating reports, setting up for meetings, ordering couriers, reordering supplies, and acting as reception.
- Coordinate and organize office activities and events.
- Assist with various special projects as required.

**What we require**:
We respect the knowledge and experience you have gained to date and are willing to help you build on it. We do however require the following qualifications:

- Above average proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, in particular), and PDF software (Bluebeam and/or Acrobat preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Associate’s diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong proficiency in written English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
