**Position Summary**:
The Program Manager - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Program in HSD is a leader responsible for managing program planning, development and delivery, supporting the PCP team and managing the program budget. In this position you will work with the HSD team to ensure the consistent delivery of evidence-informed paramedic education that aligns with JIBC educational principles and all provincial and national academic and clinical standards.
The JIBC PCP program is currently changing to incorporate the scope of practice increase from BC Ministerial Order 292 and an increase in the program length. This will require the PCP Program Manager to demonstrate excellent change management and team leadership skills to support the PCP team and current and future students during this transition. This role will also be responsible for engaging in the process of curriculum development, revision and CQI initiatives to ensure program quality is maintained.
For individuals with significant clinical and academic experience, strong leadership skills, business acumen and a passion for evidence informed paramedic education, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be leader in the future of paramedic education.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Significant clinical experience at PCP level or higher.
- Significant experience in paramedic education, preferably within a post-secondary education setting.
- Experience managing complex programs and projects.
- Experience with financial management and budgetary oversight.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles and commitment to excellence in culturally safe and relevant curriculum development.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in curriculum development.
- Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships, work in a team environment and build rapport and trust.
- Current with practice and trends in paramedicine.
- Strong collaborative leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and sensitivity working with complex issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with evidence-based practice and demonstrated research literacy.
