**About your next** challenge** as Lead, HR Business Partner**:
Working from Trenton (ON) and reporting directly to the Director, HR Business Partner, the Lead, HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic and operation support to the managers and employees of its various customer groups. You will act as a trusted advisor with all aspects of Human Resources, including Labour and Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Training and WSIB Management.

**What you will do**:

- Provide advice and coaching to executives and managers in the resolution of their human resources management issues, as well as in the development of their management skills ;
- Carry out HR interventions adapted to business needs and the human aspects of operational issues;
- Provide advice and expertise on working conditions and labor relations;
- Work in close collaboration with your expert colleagues in the HR department to provide support to your customer in staffing, compensation, training and organizational development;
- Act as a change agent to support managers in the various organizational transformations they are implementing;
- Implement various initiatives to improve HR measures, practices and policies;
- Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreement;
- Handle grievance procedures in a timely and effective manner to ensure speedy resolution of employee problems or concerns;
- Participate in the Labor Relations Committee;
- Participate in the Health and Safety Committee;
- WSIB Management and workplace accommodations.

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- University Degree (Industrial Relations other related program);
- CHRP Designation an asset;
- 7-10 years solid HR/Labour Relations experience in a unionized environment;
- Experience in a manufacturing/aircraft maintenance environment is an asset;
- In depth knowledge of the Canada’s Labour Code, Human Rights Act and Employment Equity Act;
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
- Proven problem identification and problem solving skills;
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills;
- Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel);
- Knowledge of HR Systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, SuccessFactors) an asset;
- Bilingual in French and English an asset.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada **Reliability** status and **Secret Level 2/NATO Secret** security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
