Working with the Lab Manager, the Client Services Representative will work extensively to support our internal and external customer service needs.
**Key Responsibility 1: Occupational Health and Safety**
- Demonstrate a strong commitment and adherence to 20/20 Seed Labs Inc OHS Safety program by self and team members.
- Responsible for following all safety policies, protocols, and procedures, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
**Key Responsibility 2: Reception and Customer Service**
- Reception duties such as answering main line phone calls, transferring calls, providing answers to general inquiries, etc.
- Contacting customers regarding sample submissions, confirming rush requests, etc
- Greeting customers at the door, responding to inquiries, drop off samples and assisting customers as needed
- Contacting customers regarding retest, test add ons and other testing needs as required
- Maintaining a clean and professional work space for customer interactions
- Other customer service and reception duties as required
**Key Responsibility 2: Lab Administration**
- Filing lab documents as required
- Creating and submitting customer spreadsheets as required
- Preparing lab shipments of sample bags, documents to customer as required
- Ordering and shipping purolator waybills as required
- Shipping and receiving duties
- Preparing course material, preparing binders, printing material etc as required
- Creating customer accounts in database
- Adding on tests as requested by customers when required
- Creating and sending customer usernames in database as required
- Other administrative duties as required
**Key Responsibility 3: Sales and Marketing Support**
- Collecting and communicating customer feedback to sales and management
- Providing marketing materials to customers as required
- Providing the sales and marketing teams administrative support as required (printing and shipping materials, etc.)
- Administer customer feedback surveys as required
- Other sales and marketing support as required
**What do you need to succeed?**
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a customer service role
- Basic understanding of plant identification, multiplication, harvesting, conditioning storage, grading, labeling and sale of pedigreed seed as it relates to field operations is preferred but not required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of environmental and chemical safety procedures.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and the environment.
- Ability to foster and maintain trusting and dependable working relationships.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently on individual assigned tasks, as well as ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations, equipment, software and technology.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office suite of business programs and CFIA computer systems.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
