**Position Summary**
- Load, modify and troubleshoot CNC programs for automated machines. Troubleshoot and ensures that automated equipment continue functioning during run e.g Robotic Welder, Bender, Hammers, Upsetters etc
- Note
- this is a rotating shift. The applicant must be available to work mornings/afternoons/night shifts

**Responsibilities**
- Creates instructions for Operators
- Communicates continuous improvement opportunities to operations and engineering.
- Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
- Chooses cutting tools, welding fixtures or hammer / Upsetter dies that will be needed.
- Modifies existing programs for increased efficiency.
- Use material handling equipment to deliver parts to automation equipment.
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
- Reset and clear faults including removal from not conforming products to get machine running
- Work closely with Eng and maintenance to ensure equipment continue functioning.
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Robotics and Automation diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of robots electronics, CNC programming, Forging and machining.
- Preferred - Experience with FANC robot programming.
- Must have superior CNC programming skills.
- Must have excellent reading comprehension skills.
- Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics.
- Good active listening skills.
- Must have good problem solving skills.
- Must have good organizational and planning skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment.

**Salary**: $32.57 per hour
