Fancy Therapy is seeking passionate and dedicated practicum students to join our innovative and inclusive mental health practice in Ontario. We offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, growth-oriented environment while contributing to our mission of revolutionizing therapy experiences across the province.
Program Overview:
Our practicum program provides a comprehensive learning experience, combining rigorous training, personalized supervision, and a strong sense of community. We specialize in areas including ADHD, trauma, perinatal mental health, parenting support, and couples therapy.
**Requirements**:
- Enrolment in a Master's level CRPO-accredited program
- Registered with a regulatory college
- Completion of required coursework as deemed necessary by your program
- Commitment to complete at least 200 hours of Direct Client Contact (DCC)
- Participation in a mandatory 40-hour introductory course on private practice essentials
- Passionate about helping people
- Accountable, driven, and have a positive attitude
- Access to a quiet, private space with high-speed internet
- Computer with webcam and headphones

What We Offer:
- Supervision opportunities with experienced CRPO-qualified clinical supervisors:
- Individual supervision sessions at $100 per session
- Dyadic supervision sessions at $50 per session
- Group supervision sessions at $40 per session

Onsite Supervisor - Josh, RP, MDiv, RMFT.
Josh works at Fancy Therapy as a clinical supervisor. He offers individual, dyadic, and group supervision. As an educator and supervisor, he creates a space to honour truth and seek reconciliation. His work involves creating a culture of belonging and a compassionate community. Through facilitating organizational safety, trust, transparency and cultural sensitivity, we help people shift their focus from “what’s wrong with you” to “what happened to you.”
Josh’s practice employs both cognitive and somatic therapies, some of which are CBT, EFT, Family Systems, IFS, Ego State, Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. He believes in integrative whole health and to find what works best for clients.
