**The role**

Matte PR is seeking a public relations account executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing client communications programs and contributing innovative and creative ideas as part of our strategic planning process.

**Duties**
- Create strategic, innovative and effective PR campaigns for our portfolio of clients while deep diving into every facet of their business.
- Be a daily point of contact for our clients while anticipating their needs and providing top-notch service, going above and beyond.
- Nurture and build relationships with media on behalf of clients and the agency
- Execute media relations programs from start to finish, assigning roles and responsibilities. Oversee and execute best-in-class work completed on time and within budget, meeting and exceeding KPIs.
- Manage account coordinators and interns, providing mentorship, training and helpful feedback. Be an inspiration to your peers and help them grow.
- Media monitoring, social media monitoring and client reporting. Being on top of the trends in our industries and ongoing dialogues in the larger fashion, art, design and culture landscape.
- Strategize campaigns that serve overarching client goals and objectives and engage their target audience; scout for new business opportunities and participate in the proposal development process.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum three years of public relations experience (agency preferred).
- Post-secondary degree in public relations, journalism, communications, or related field.
- Proven track record executing successful integrated PR campaigns.
- Established media relationships in the categories we work within; excellent relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding client management skills and a passion for delivering best-in-class service.
- Team management experience and successfully leading a team to execute PR projects from start to finish.
- Outstanding writing skills, understanding how to tailor your tone and voice to different mediums, and writing error-free and in Canadian Press style.

**How to apply**

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
