Perks & Benefits Bubbly Fridays for celebrating the week Monthly learning workshops to develop our teams’ skills Once-a-month personal paid wellness days Unique team-building retreats Celebratory birthday surprises Exciting client events Fun office space in downtown Toronto Flex days, competitive pay, vacation pay Great employee health benefits program Welcoming office environment, two work-from-home days per week Required Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of PR experience, either at an agency or in-house PR A proven track record of pitching media to secure media coverage Good relationships with Canadian media Knowledge of what makes a great story and what will land with media, and if it doesn’t, the creativity to pivot to something that will land Passion for influencers and keeping up with social trends Excellent writing skills Ability to manage priorities Responsibilities Media monitoring daily for client opportunities, industry trends, and sourcing new media contacts and story ideas Assist in the creation of press materials for clients (media kit, fact sheet, etc.) Research and identify media and influencer contacts to create effective media lists Write tailored client pitches to introduce media to a client, a product, or share a new story angle Prepare key messages for client speaking opportunities to be approved by the Account Manager Assist in drafting client press releases Execute influencer relations from initial connection, coordination and completion with reporting Start and complete client coverage reports and share client coverage with various stakeholders Assist with brainstorming, research and execution for event planning (budgets, logistics, vendors, food and beverages, asset creation) Assist with influencer relations and strategy implementation About the Role Seniority Level: Entry level Employment Type: Full-time Job Function: Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries: Public Relations and Communications Services We want to hear from you Send your resume and cover letter to our team at We thank and encourage all to apply Those with relevant work experience will be contacted for an interview.
