As an Account Coordinator you will be responsible for providing entry-level support for several of our accounts which includes ownership of client coverage reports, development of media lists, media relations support and development of media materials.Roles and responsibilities of an Account Coordinator include (but are not limited to) the following:Assist multiple client teams in media relations and execution of PR programs.Monitor, track and report media coverage for multiple clients.Develop media and influencer lists, and pitch effectively to deliver exceptional program results.Negotiate influencer contracts and seed influencers for program campaigns.Develop press releases, media advisories, key messages and editorial calendarsAttend and take notes at internal and client meetingsPrepare meeting schedules and call agendas for clientsTrack hours and expensesParticipate in weekly status updatesAbout you:A postgraduate degree in public relations, marketing communications, journalism, business or similar background1 year of directly related experience; an agency background is idealPossess strong written and verbal communication skills; strong technical and creative writing skills are a mustExcellent organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects within established deadlinesSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMarketing, Public Relations, and Writing/EditingIndustriesPublic Relations and Communications ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Pomp & Circumstance PR by 2xWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
