Founded by television and media icon Moses Znaimer in 2008, Zoomer is a multiplatform media company devoted to creating content and experiences for Canada's most powerful audiences: the 18.1 million people aged 45-plus aka "Zoomers", and the 15.1 million Millennials and Gen Zs, coincidentally also called Zoomers, who follow in their footsteps. **_ Zoomer Digital Network_** is ZoomerMedia’s new digital media division with the acquisitions of Canada’s largest brands such as blogTO, Daily Hive, Curiocity and many more. **Who You Are** You’re a videographer and producer with a passion for local journalism and storytelling looking to make an impact across multiple brands while being part of a supportive and collaborative team. You have hands-on experience creating engaging content geared towards virality and social media growth on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms. You are self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and possess the ability to work independently as well as with a team and adaptable in a fast-changing environment and you’re detail-oriented with a knack for understanding brand identity and tone. **What You'll Do** - Produce, host, shoot and edit original video-based content for social video platforms. - Generate and pitch content ideas, write scripts, schedule shoots and other pre and post-production activities. - Collaborate with other team members and participate in regular meetings via Google Meet and in-person as necessary. - Upload and organize projects and footage on the video team’s hot and cold storage management systems. - Participate in discussions around weekly assignments, pitches, revisions and more as necessary. **What You Have** - A keen attitude and passion for creating lifestyle and culture content. - On-camera experience creating content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and/or Instagram. - The ability to work independently to shoot video-based content to bring your ideas to fruition but also collaborate with fellow team members as applicable on script writing and editing. - Excellent time management, attention to detail and consistently hit deadlines. - Ability to work unconventional hours, evenings and weekends as applicable. - Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a demand for Premiere Pro; knowledge in After Effects; experience with Photoshop/Illustrator; and baseline knowledge of Media Encoder. **What We Offer** - Flexible paid time off policy to ensure you're able to get the break you need and work at an optimized level. - Opportunity for both professional and personal growth. - Hybrid work environment. - Benefits package including dental, vision and extended health starting after 3 months.
