**Job Title**: Content Creator
**Reports To**: Chief Marketing Officer

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Content Strategy & Planning**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to identify content opportunities.
- Develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content initiatives.

**Content Creation**:

- Write, edit, and proofread engaging and informative content for various platforms including:

- **Website**: Blog posts, articles, landing page design and copy, product descriptions.
- **Social Media**: Posts, stories, reels, scripts for video content (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X).
- **Video**: Scripts, storyboards, basic editing for short-form video.
- **Graphics**: Collaborate with designers or create simple visual assets (e.g., infographics, social media cards).
- Adapt content style, tone, and format to suit specific platforms and audience segments.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice.

**SEO & Optimization**:

- Integrate SEO best practices into content creation to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords naturally.
- Optimize existing content for better performance.

**Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and other internal teams to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Manage relationships with external collaborators, freelancers, or agencies when necessary.

**Trend Awareness**:

- Stay current with emerging content trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and content creation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Content Creator, Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging content across various digital platforms.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective content requirements (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush) are a strong asset.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

**Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)**:

- Experience in tech.
- Portfolio showcasing diverse content samples (writing, video, graphics).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
