Now hiring a FOH Supervisor for an exciting new, Mediterranean, fast casual concept located at Mississauga Rd. and Alpha Mills.
We are looking for a passionate, energetic individual who enjoys being involved in day-to-day operations and who is also a strong and motivating team player. Culinary experience is an asset as this is a hands-on job that will utilize your skills in FOH management.
Management of this concept will include providing _fast-casual_ service to 40+ seats in the restaurant as well as delivery and takeout business including drive thru. Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal and customer service skills along with administrative and operations skills are required. The FOH Supervisor will be supported by BOH Management and Supervisors but will be responsible for daily operations. This role will report to General Manager
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Delegate tasks, follow up and provide direction to the FOH team members
- Training of FOH Staff
- Monitor revenues, place orders and adjust accordingly to sales trends
- Prepare weekly schedule for team members and monitor labour costs
- Execute all items to the highest standard following recipes and procedures
- Lead food safety and food handling practices in accordance with government standards
- Maintain high level of cleanliness of all areas in the restaurant
- Maintain health & safety standards
- Follow all operational policies and procedures
- Maintain high level of food safety practices
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Plan, organize, direct and evaluate daily operations
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum of 1 years previous supervisor /team lead experience in Fast Casual Restaurant concept
- Culinary experience/management an asset
- Familiarity in Mediterranean Cuisine an asset
- 18 years of age required (licensed environment)
- Smart Serve certification required
- Food Safe certification
- Mixed Shifts, Days and Evenings. Weekends and Holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Eligible to work in Canada

**Physical requirements**
- Standing for long periods of time
- Working in a hot kitchen environment

**This role will require approximately 40 + hours/week**
**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
