We are currently recruiting full time **Cultivation Associates **at our* Ancaster, Ontario* facility. Previous landscaping or greenhouse experience preferred.
**Work Schedule: Monday - Friday / 8:30 am to 4:30 pm**
The Cultivation Associate position assists the Cultivation Technicians and the Cultivation team with the overall crop growing operations.
Main Duties:
*
Perform various tasks related to plant production in our Greenhouse and associated buildings including:

- Working with soil and pots
- Grow room preparation and maintenance during and after grow cycles.
- Physically moving plants via carts and by hand
- Basic plant maintenance.
- Working with other Staff members, Leads and Supervisors to support department requirements.
- Ensure compliance of company safety and quality procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness of facility at all times by doing various tasks such as sweeping, mopping and sanitizing tools and equipment.
- **Qualifications**
- 1-2 years experience in working within a Greenhouse environment and Sanitation manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in landscaping, warehouse, general labour an asset.
- Experience working with Regulations by Health Canada and protocols also considered an asset.
- Experience adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Good understanding of applicable Health & Safety practices and legislation
- Proactive mindset and ability to self-motivate and multitask when needed as necessary
- Must have reliable transportation (Location is not on a bus route)

Qualifications:

- Prior experience working with plants or in a Greenhouse environment is considered an asset.
- General labour experience would be an asset.

Working Conditions:

- This is a greenhouse working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity
- Maybe be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time.

Physical Requirements:

- This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs), standing and bending
