We currently recruiting full time **Cultivation Associates **at our** Ancaster, Ontario** facility. Previous landscaping or greenhouse experience preferred.

**Work Schedule: Fulltime, Monday - Friday | 8:30 am to 4:30 pm**

**Rate: CAD $18.64/hour**

The Cultivation Associate position assists the Cultivation team with overall crop growing operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing various tasks related to cannabis plant production in a greenhouse setting and other associated manufacturing facilities including:

- Working with soil, pots, and water
- Participating in grow room preparation and maintenance before, during, and after grow cycles and harvests
- Transporting plants via carts and by hand
- Engaging in basic plant maintenance (trimming, watering, fertilizing, etc).
- Working with other Staff members and Leadership to support department requirements
- Ensure compliance of company safety and quality procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness of facility at all times by doing various tasks such as sweeping, mopping and sanitizing tools and equipment.
- ** Qualifications**
- 1-2 years experience in working within a greenhouse environment and Sanitation manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in landscaping, warehouse, general labour
- Familiar with with Health Canada regulations and protocols
- Capable of adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Good understanding of applicable Health & Safety practices and legislation
- Proactive mindset and ability to self-motivate and multitask when needed as necessary
- ** Must have reliable transportation (location is not on a bus route)**

Qualifications:

- Must be mandatory minimum age to work with cannabis in Canada (19 years old +)
- Prior experience working with plants or in a greenhouse environment is considered an asset.
- Prior experience with general labour experience

Working Conditions:

- This is a greenhouse working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity
- Maybe be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time.

Physical Requirements:

- This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs), standing and bending
