**About The Role**:
The Product Design team is expanding and we’re looking for motivated interns to help us level up our practice. This is an opportunity to do hands on UX research, under the mentorship of an experienced team. As a UX researcher you will be tasked with providing actionable and meaningful data-driven insights that represent the voice of the customer. You will help plan and conduct consumer research at every stage of the product’s lifecycle; from its conceptualization, prototype validations, all the way to usability tests on the final product. You will also work with multidisciplinary teams with the purpose of helping promote the best practices in UX research.
**Challenges You'll Solve**:
- Playing a key role in generative and evaluative UX research projects
- Write usability research screeners and discussion guides
- Conduct stakeholder and client interviews
- Participate in design reviews and workshops with the team
- Listen, observe, and ask the right kinds of questions to gather insights that can be turned into actionable ideas
- Synthesize findings and communicate them to the rest of the team and to key stakeholders in clear, actionable, and engaging ways
**About You**:
- You have a keen interest in UX research, product design, and product development
- Past experience working on UX research projects, through past work experience, or school projects
- Knowledge of a wide variety of user research methodologies
- You have a strong sense of curiosity and are interested in comprehending problems, what causes them, and finding solutions.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (University preferred)
