Operations - Production Supervisor

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Coaching and motivating employees to achieve departmental goals while maintaining product quality
- Tracking, monitoring, and updating daily production KPIs and quality inspection form
- Ensuring team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Working in collaboration with Operational Excellence team to accurately track and reduce waste
- Supporting Safety Coordinator by completing daily safety audits, attending OH&S committee meetings, and implementing and advocating new and existing safety initiative
- Working with the process improvement team to reduce Non-Conformance Reports and find effective Corrective Action Requests for defects
- Overseeing onboarding to ensure team members are trained and cross-trained to run the extrusion line
- Maintaining a first-class, clean, and safe work environment, and positive culture
- Working in collaboration with the Production Manager and Employee Experience for resource planning
- Coordinating with Maintenance Team to ensure machinery preventative maintenance is up to date
- Authorizing, executing, and tracking employee vacations, corrective actions, incident investigations, and schedules
- Other duties as assigned by the manager

**What you bring to the team**:
**Required**:

- 2- 5 years experience in a leadership role within a production/manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (especially Excel), ERP systems and typing
- Steel toed shoes/boots (other PPE provided)
- You strive to foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
- Experience developing and implementing automation solutions as part of a process improvement team
- Focused and passionate about improving the customer experience for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with positively motivating teams, and providing coaching to team members
- Experience working in LEAN Process manufacturing environment is a strong asset

**Desired**:

- APICS or CPIM designation is considered an asset
- Dedication to self development and improvement
- Self awareness, with respectful and effective communication skills; leading by example to support and develop your team.

**Shift Details**:

- Full-time, Permanent

There are two shifts available,
- AM hours 6:00 am to 2:30 OR
- PM hours 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
