As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Production Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership (10%)**
- Manage and lead direct reports and ensure holding employees accountable for adherence to corporate policies.
- Foster positive union and employee relations by treating all team members with respect, providing timely feedback, and resolving grievances efficiently.

**Operations (85%)**
- Maintain a continuous presence on the production floor, providing immediate feedback, resolution, and guidance on any issues affecting production goals.
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to Food Safety and Quality standards, driving continuous improvement in food safety and quality management.
- Optimize labor utilization through effective workforce planning and job rotation strategies.
- Guarantee compliance with CFIA, OH&S, and other regulatory bodies, actively contributing to plant performance.
- Drive productivity and yields, with a keen focus on accurate record-keeping and measurement.

**KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)**:

- Maintain, improve, and expand KPI- Red Zone reporting.

**Job Requirements**:

- Supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- 3-5 Years working in a manufacturing/processing plant.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership skills, independent thinking, organizational and planning abilities, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in ensuring safety expectations are met for all staff.
- Clear understanding of manufacturing processes, yields, and labor costs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity with other software programs as an asset.
