**We are looking for great people to join our team. We are currently hiring to fill the role of HSE Coordinator.**

**The Health and Safety Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager and will be required to promote safety behaviors, safe work practices and environments as well as manage, maintain, and administer the Health and Safety Program with the objective of minimizing accidents, injuries, and environmental damage.**

**Duties**:

- Develop, organize, manage, maintain, and administer the Health and Safety Program.
- Manage and lead Health and Safety committees
- Schedule applicable safety training for all staff
- Identify safety training requirements and make recommendations
- Assist with internal/external audits as required
- Maintain COR certification
- Maintain WHMIS program and current MSDS log
- Maintain a presence in the field - including site inspections and observations.
- Assist in development, coordination, and maintenance of Emergency preparedness Program
- Be familiar with Workers’ Compensation Board Regulations and policies and be able to provide support and direction.
- Ensure appropriate and sufficient safety equipment and PPE is available to all employees
- Work closely with management ensuring compliance with safety legislation
- Coordinate the review of health and safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate and lead Monthly Safety Meetings
- Maintain all safety programs such as WorkHub, ISN, Complyworks
- Assist in HR related tasks including Recruitment, interviewing, onboarding/offboarding of employees, employee benefits, training and development, and organizing of social events.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years experience in supervisory and/or management role in a safety role, is an asset.
- 3+ years experience in oil & gas industry, preferably in specified line of work with Safety related experience, is an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational aptitude.
- Valid Safety tickets.
- Clean Class 5 driver’s license.
- Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Schedule is negotiable.
