Responsibilities:

- Know how to wiring houses proficiently and independently
- Able to teach/ Train new workers
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
- Assist in the installation of electrical components and wiring
- Learn to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work fast and think ahead.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
- Basic saw and power tool experience.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed

**Skills**:

- Electrical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- extensive residential new construction experience
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus
- Familiarity with power tools used in electrical work
- Ability to build and assemble electrical components based on provided specifications

Note: This is an apprenticeship position, so training will be provided. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience in the field. Applicants not currently enrolled in an apprenticeship will be evaluated and offered an apprenticeship at the discretion of management.

Pay: $22.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- residential electrical: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
