Web Design Project Manager

This is a mid-senior position at a small web design company that works on small to mid-sized website projects and some digital marketing.

You will be managing web designers and developers in order to create freakin' awesome websites.

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage small
- to mid-sized web site projects. You understand how to be focused on completing projects and will make sure website projects are delivered on time, on spec and on budget. You will be the central contact point for clients, designers, developers, copywriters and others. You will also be responsible for support and additional requests from existing clients.

**Responsibilities**

As a Web Project Manager with The Story, you will oversee the design and development of websites from design, to development, to testing and taking it live. You will work with designers and developers. You will create the scope of the project and lead the design and development to completion in a timely manner.

You will be involved in other aspects of digital marketing, but your primary responsibility will be managing the design and development of websites. You will use your design sensibility and understanding of UI/UX.

You will be working on 5-10 projects on any given month (there will be variation of number of projects based on the size of various projects. Projects will normally range in value from 10K-100K. Project timelines range from 4 weeks to 5 months.

You will help think through the solutions that the client needs. Your strategic and tactical thinking will help you understand how the website needs to be designed and developed to help each client be successful.

**Communicating Effectively**

You must communicate effectively via text and via phone/zoom. You will be creating summaries of each project meeting in a manner that ensures clients take action on tasks they are responsible for. You will be communicating with designers and developers with clear instructions to ensure that they are able to understand their requirements.

Much of your communication will happen via the company's project management system, Click-Up.

**Work Hours**:
Regular business hours of operation for our customers are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. There are no official office hours. Your schedule will depend on both the projects you are working on, and your deliverables/performance goals.

**Work Environment**:
Our team works remotely from home-based offices. This means that you have the discipline to work with mínimal supervision. You will need to have dedicated office space available to you at your home which has the required equipment: computer, desk, chair, phone, and internet connection.

While you will be working remotely, you will be working in conjunction, primarily with the project director, web designers, and developers.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
Annual Salary is 50K, plus significant performance bonuses that can have you making in the six figure range for your delivery of quantity and quality work.

Benefits will be optional following your initial three months at The Story.
