YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a highly strategic and dynamic leader to join our Enterprise Transformation team. With direct sponsorship of the CFO, this role will partner with Executive Leadership to drive critical and meaningful growth across OpenText business units. This role will have a dual delivery mandate, focusing on: establishing and leading a License Growth Group (LGG), and transformation of business strategies into viable delivery projects and improvements.The License Growth Group (LGG) will focus on optimizing OpenText’s license business, analyzing and reporting active insight, governance, and accountability over the achievement of the License sales model. This role involves implementing strategic initiatives to increase software license performance and establish a framework for future growth.
**WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS**:

- Provide full visibility, governance, and oversight of OpenText License sales and renewals to Executive Leadership.
- Engage directly with both Senior and Executive Leadership teams on the performance and trajectory of our License business.
- Develop a programmatic approach to supervise, monitor, and advise on all license business activities including renewal rates and pipeline.
- Maintain a comprehensive data repository of all Enterprise License Agreements, OEM Agreements, License Subscriptions, and other recurring license contract areas for real-time executive oversight.
- Validate strategic plans, assumptions, opportunities, and challenges across all aspects of the license business and OpenText business units.
- Ensure the achievement and growth of the annual license plan by optimizing business processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Select and support transitional aspects of license-to-cloud sale conversions.
- Work closely with the CFO and Senior Finance leaders to improve and optimize margins on License transactions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, Renewals, and Marketing.
- Optimize all aspects of our license business.
- Prepare and set the foundation for consistent license growth year-over-year.
- Recruit and manage a centralized team of dedicated experts that produce meaningful change and growth for OpenText’s License business.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- 20+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, communications, and operations, preferably in the technology or enterprise software industry.
- Proven track record of managing software license transactions or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, driving financial impact.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with C-level executives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategy and operational priorities clearly.
- Must have professionalism, integrity, and dedication, a high level of energy, and excellent critical thinking, creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
