Manager, Consumer Financing & Warranty Services Career Opportunity

The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a **Manager, Consumer Financing & Warranty Services** for our Store Operations Team within our **Home Office** located at **147 Commerce Drive** in **Winnipeg, MB**.**

As a Manager, Consumer Financing & Warranty Services you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic and operational initiatives associated with TDG’s Consumer Financing and Warranty programs, inclusive of negotiating promotional programs with service provider partners, establishing, and executing sales associate education, development and roll-out of Point-of-Purchase materials in store. Success in this role will be achieved through taking a hands-on approach to assessing and enforcing the sales process, mentoring, and training the sales teams, maintaining a strong relationship with Vendors and stakeholders, and regularly collaborating with other departments that share responsibility for driving the same Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) towards higher targets.

**As a Manager, Consumer Financing & Warranty Services, you will**:

- Continually developing the Company’s Sales Professionals and supporting the Store Managers on sales processes and related strategies to increase Financed and Extended Warranty sales.
- Be accountable for the Dufresne Brand’s overall store-level results relating to;
- Support financed sales - Finance penetration, average ticket size, creation of newly available credit on the Private Label Credit Card program, and consumer credit costs as a % of financed sales.
- Support extended Warranty sales - attachment rate and average sale price.
- Focus on continually improving the Key Performance Metrics that are related to TDG’s Consumer Financing program and extended warranty sales. Collaborate closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, Merchandising and Retail operations to execute holistic Value-add Service strategies and programs.
- Help monitor the competitive landscape, trends, approval rates, plan rates, and balance between the different payment types, interpret models and provide recommendations to optimize finance business and drive extended warranty sales
- Assess, monitor, and recommend changes to minimize losses from transactional fraud.
- Optimize e-commerce Consumer Finance through research and understanding of effective placement, promotion and streamlined approval of finance online.
- Be a liaison and work with vendors to foster and maintain strong partnerships.
- Understand the metrics and constantly be driving to improve our results.
- Proven selling skills, including demonstrating a strong sales approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong salesmanship capabilities along with analytical and communication skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and share out information in a meaningful manner for business insights.
- Able to adapt presentations for all levels and work within a team environment.
- Criminal Record Check is required.
- Travel will be required between 50-70% of the year.
