The Financial Manager is responsible for managing, controlling, planning, and organizing the processes in both the finance and accounting departments of the GNB Group of Companies. Their primary duties include organizing and planning financial audits, evaluating reporting systems in place and developing new ones, and creating and implementing financial procedures in finance and accounting departments as well as monitoring and maintaining cash flow. They analyze expenditures and develop realistic budget plans for the organization to maximize profits. The Finance Manager reports any issues that may affect performance or the company's profitability to the upper management team. They play a key role in designing and implementing an organization's financial success plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple companies including consolidation

  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

  • Organizing and planning financial audits, evaluating reporting systems in place and developing new ones

  • Creating and implementing financial procedures in finance and accounting departments.

  • analyze expenditures and develop realistic budget plans for the organization to maximize profits.

  • The Finance Manager reports any issues that may affect performance or the company's profitability to the upper management

  • Verify systems and processes in place and make changes whenever necessary

  • Manage, direct, and control daily processes

  • Provide support and guidance to finance and accounting teams

  • Manage all data collected by the finance and accounting departments

  • Adjust protocols or policies to maximize profitability in conjunction with upper management

  • monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the inflow and outflow of cash management within multiple companies

  • Develop strategies for optimizing liquidity, intercompany transactions, and working capital

Skills and Qualifications:

· Excellent organizational skills

· Expert knowledge in finance and accounting procedures and regulations

· Strong analytical and leadership skills

· Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines

· Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

· Exceptional reporting skills

· Designation of CPA or CGA

· Minimum 3 years managerial experience

· Collaboratively working along side upper management

· Accounting software proficiency

· Data analysis and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time
