**ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION**:
**Impact Kitchen** is looking for a team player to fill the seasonal **Assistant Program Manager** position. This role will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager in all aspects of day to day operations of the program. The Assistant Program Manager is to maintain all of the programs assets, lead front of house training, employee schedules and operational efficiency while overseeing service excellence and guest/client satisfaction.

Reports to: Program Manager

**SCHEDULE & DURATION**:

- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule
- 7 month seasonal position (early April to October, with opportunity for permanent employment at Impact Kitchen restaurants afterwards)
- Paid Training - tentative start date mid-March (to be confirmed upon hire)
- Daily Special Events - tentative start date April 1st (to be confirmed upon hire)

**LOCATION**: Impact Kitchen, Commissary Kitchen, 573 King Street East
- Travelling to Rogers Centre, 1 Blue Jays Way, Toronto, ON M5V 1J1

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Package and organize meals and supplies from Commissary Kitchen and load van
- Support with light food preparation as requested by the Special Events Kitchen Manager
- Travel to and from daily Special Events location, supporting with driving Van if able
- Unpack van; set up and break down serving areas; set up daily Meals, beverages, cutlery, and smallwares needed to effectively serve all food products
- Serve guests their pre-ordered meal and other items, assisting with food, drink, and nutritional inquiries, while providing above & beyond service
- Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of Special Events serving stations, equipment, food production spaces, and Van
- Accomplish all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift, including following all COVID-19 Safety Protocols
- Report any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the Program Manager
- Complete closing duties at the end of each event, return to Commissary Kitchen, and unload van
- Assist the other Special Events staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize guest experience
- ** Professionalism standards to be adhered to around athletes and staff**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Hospitality-related kitchen or front-of-the-house experience preferred
- Able to work in both a standing and a sitting position for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 LBS
- Exceptional Customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and work well with others in a team-based setting
- Self-motivated with a high energy level
- Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask when required
- Strict adherence to company, municipal and provincial guidelines as they are related to food safety and safe workplace environments
- Food Handlers certificate is an asset but not required
- G driver license with a clean driving record is an asset but not required
- ** Comfortable in a locker room-type environment**
