**Patient Coordinator - Plastic Surgery**

**Type: Full
- Time**

**Hours: Mon - Fri Flexible based on surgeon hours**

**The Responsibilities**:

- To be a clinic ambassador for aesthetic surgery.
- Contact plastic surgery enquiries and screen patients for consultations and schedule surgery.
- Improve the conversion of patients from consultation to surgery.
- Assist Plastic Surgeon with consults, follow-up appointments and non-surgical treatments as directed by the physician
- Perform post-procedure wound care
- Educate patients on the procedure preparation and post-procedure care as necessary
- Complete the required documentation including consent forms.
- Coordinate care with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service
- Order required materials for surgery such as implants.
- Field patient complaints / concerns with the medical director or nursing director.
- Work with the marketing team as thought leader and share patient insights for campaigns.

**The Requirements**:

- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- A minimum of 2 year nursing experience in plastic surgery.
- Nursing experience in a plastic surgery office environment is an asset
- Current CPR/BCLS certification
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
