Warehouse Supervisor

Wakefield Canada Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Eastern Region reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, Eastern Region. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in managing the people and processes surrounding the distribution of product, providing administrative, operational and analytical support to the Eastern Region operation.

**In this role, you will**:

- Support the day-to-day operations in the Eastern Region.
- Be responsible for order management in the Region, including but not limited to:

- Collaborate with the Demand Planning team in Toronto on inventory and stock transfers to ensure a smooth flow of product to the Eastern Region.
- Manage open orders and on time delivery working closely with the warehouse operations and working with the ERP system - Microsoft AX.
- Provide assistance with lost or problem orders and investigate the cause and initiate corrective action.
- Review orders in the tank monitoring system and initiate orders or make adjustments in the system as required.
- Collaborate with dispatcher to request/recommend any adjustments needed for delivery schedules to ensure delivery efficiency and excellence.
- Inputting ship confirms in the system in a timely basis to ensure up to date and accurate inventory and delivery information.
- Coordinating logistics with 3rd party carriers as required.
- Assist the Customer Care team with inquiries/requests such as a special customer requests/requirements, estimated time of arrivals, inventory inquiries.
- Focus on process management to ensure efficient and effective operations and identify and implement initiatives or process improvements to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide back-up support to Supply Chain Manager, Eastern Region as required.
- Provide leadership to the warehouse staff. Work with employees to coach, train, and counsel as necessary to ensure a cohesive, efficient, and team driven workforce.
- Ensure proper health and safety practices and procedures are followed.
- Support with special projects as required.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- General knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and applicable provincial legislation.
- Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel.
- Experience working with an ERP or WMS - experience working with Microsoft Dynamics would be an asset.
- Bilingualism (French and English required).
- Customer focus and dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external clients.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record of problem solving and process improvement.
- Self-starter with strong desire to see results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal/written).
- Ability to influence, coach and develop others.
- Strong decisions making skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced operations with demanding schedules and deadlines in an environment where superior customer service is paramount.

- Ability to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiencies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage varied, time sensitive workloads.
