Magnotta Brewery in Vaughan, Ontario is currently seeking a true craft energetic **Brewer** who is self-motivated to join our award-winning Brewery Team. Working alongside our Head Brewer and team you will assist with brewing, fermentation, filtration, and packaging of our products along with other brewery related tasks.
- **Duties and Responsibilities will include but not to be limited to;**_
- Assist the brewing team in production of our wort & beer
- Maintain focus on safety, quality, and productivity for all related processes
- Fermentation & cellaring
- Tank cleaning & sanitizing
- Filtration
- Packaging
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Ability to stand, crouch, sit, climb stairs & ladders, and lift up to 30 kgs
- Ability to stay focused & conduct repetitive tasks
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and is detail oriented
- Other duties shall be assigned as required
- **Requirements**:_
- University Degree (BSc.) or College Diploma in Brewing Operations
- 2+ years of practical brewing experience on 20hL brewhouse
- 2+ years of tank house experience (fermentation, filtration, sanitation)
- 2+ years of packaging experience - use of Cask can filler, GAI bottle filler, or Scholle bag filler considered an asset
- Basic understanding of equipment maintenance
- Proven ability to multitask, adapt to change, & think critically
- Proven to be a team player & work in a team environment
- Must be a team player and a self-starter with high energy with a positive attitude
- Physical dexterity and stamina
- Excellent verbal skills
- Superior work organization and time management skills
- Motivated and driven
