**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the development of the Agency’s short and medium-term direction.
- Contribute to the development of the annual plan.
- Identify, develop, implement, evaluate and manage risks of recruitment and retention strategies, policies, programs, practices, and tactics in local, national and international environments.
- Establish and maintain effective external relationships (e.g. communities, employers, regulators, post-secondary institutions) that support collaboration and advance the annual plan and objectives of the Agency.
- Promote the adoption of nationally recognized best practices in the area of recruitment and retention to external partners and use change management and quality improvement principles to influence and support implement of these provide research, analysis and support in conceptualizing, developing and evaluating innovative strategies, policies and programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations to document and communicate research findings, policy recommendations, and strategies for policymakers, decision makers, partners and members of the public that are evidence-based, well-structured, and clear.
- Develop a plan to support strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Plan and execute stakeholder engagement activities to obtain input and feedback on issues or concerns.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

**Experience**
- Five to seven years of experience conducting policy analysis and development, research, producing executive level reports and briefing materials, and supporting an executive team.
- Five to seven years of experience working with diverse and external public stakeholders.

**Knowledge and Abilities**:

- Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Word and Outlook and basic skills in Microsoft Excel.
